PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS OFFERED THIS FALL; AGES 3RD-8TH
September 2, 2019
Singing is one of the most vulnerable things we do in front of other people. A voice is something special, it’s unique to each person, and a singer puts themselves on display for all to see. I am here to help your child improve their technique and expand their repertoire so they can have the tools to perform confidently.

COURTNEY OGLESBY
Executive Director
Whether it be in academics or fine arts, education is a passion of mine. I began my undergraduate studies at Abilene Christian University as a music education major and then changed my career path to elementary education. I taught third grade for six years and recently transitioned to serving students at Lee Elementary as a Response to Intervention Specialist. I received my Masters in reading this past May at The University of Texas at Tyler. While I have a passion for generating and tracking data and reports about student growth, you will also find me planning school events, coordinating art projects for my school, and assisting my twin sister with her musical productions. I am proud to serve in the role of executive director for Mrs. Z’s Performing Arts Studio.

CAMILLE ZIMMERMAN
Music and Theater Director
“Diction is done with the tip of the tongue and the teeth" has become my wonderful morning routine for the past seven years as a music educator. What a joy it is to look into the face of eager musicians everyday. In fact, I am excited to start a performing arts studio where that joy is shared with young children who have the opportunity to play lead roles. I received my music education degree from Abilene Christian and have directed over 15 musicals with young performers, beginning at my beloved school, Trinity Episcopal, in Midland. Currently, I teach music/theatre to a wonderful group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at Wylie Intermediate. I absolutely love seeing my students thrive on and off stage and look forward to working with your children.
